HELICOPTER ADVOCACY PROGRAM (HAP)

The Helicopter Advocacy Program (HAP) is funded voluntarily by ERHC members and provides increased insight and awareness on the helicopter industry's pressing concerns. The HAP is charged with developing proactive solutions on the issues confronting the industry. Our ongoing campaign toward those opposed to our industry is significantly straining our limited resources and our ability to push back. The HAP also allows the ERHC to underwrite efforts that member dues simply cannot. All of the advantages ERHC members enjoy is a result of its unmatched rapport with the FAA and TSA, along with publishing flight restrictions, public outreach/Fly Neighborly programs, weather alerting and Helicopter Emergency Response. While each of these valuable initiatives benefit indirectly from the HAP, they are not its primary concern. Far and away the most important component is the ERHC’s focus on the existing and future heliport infrastructure in New York City and airspace across the Northeast corridor.

We urgently need your help! The increasing demands on the ERHC require a renewed commitment to this fund to sustain the many complex efforts it supports. All of the expenses supported by your contributions are outlined in detail at every general meeting and distributed in our annual report to ensure absolute transparency. We value your trust and appreciate your continued support. Please use the below form to select the method that works best for you.
